Who We Are

Anchor Marine Surveying is a family-owned, full service marine surveying firm.  Our surveyors are longtime members in good standing of the Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors (SAMS) and American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) and International Association of Marine Surveyors. We are committed to maintaining the highest professional and ethical standards, advancing the profession of marine surveying, and providing exceptional service to our customers.  We regularly participate in continuing education in order to stay abreast of the latest technology and advancements in the marine industry.  Our credentials, training, and decades of experience result in our reports being accepted by insurance companies, banks, and other financial institutions.

We are very proud of our expansive client base, both local and abroad, who rely on us for all of their marine surveying needs. We regularly perform inspections for some of the largest insurance companies in the United States and feel privileged to have them as clients.  However, in all honesty, we have to admit that our favorite clients are our fellow mariners.  Whether this is your first boat or your 50th, Anchor Marine Surveying is excited to share our love of boats, boating, and the water with you.  Our family has been involved in all aspects of the marine industry for three generations and we feel so fortunate to be able to use our knowledge and experience to serve you.

With years of vessel design, repair, and inspection training and experience, Anchor Marine Surveying is able to provide the technical, professional and hands-on expertise needed to thoroughly inspect and examine your vessel. We are committed to protecting the safety and investment of those who use our services.  Owning a vessel is very much a labor of love - it requires a significant amount of time and money.  Our duty is to safeguard our customers, and their investments, both in and out of the water.
